How does it work?

Scalp Micropigmentation is a medical form of tattoo, but it is a very different procedure to traditional tattooing. Ink is embedded deep into the dermis with a thinner needle, whereas tattoos only insert ink just below the surface of the epidermis. This means your Scalp Micropigmentation is unlikely to spread and will have a more subtle, natural effect. A traditional tattooist would not be able to perform Scalp Micropigmentation correctly without training.

Our skilled, trained professional will deposit pigment precisely into the skin, to mimic the very short hair that would grow from the follicle in order to hide baldness or thinning hair. Think of it like a camouflage. The ink acts as a concealer to hide the bald colour of the scalp to create a fuller looking head of hair. The angle and depth of pigment insertion is extremely crucial to achieve the right natural look.

It can also be used in conjunction with hair transplants surgeries to give an even fuller, thicker look to the transplanted area, or to any area in which a transplant has failed.
